Strike Vote Expected

The latest conciliation effort has failed to produce a new contract for 70 landfillers and incinerators at Clean Harbors.  CEP Union local 914 representative Mike Berenik says the 70 workers will be taking a strike vote over the next couple of weeks.  However, the union yet to request a "no board" report, nor has a strike date been set.  No new talks have been scheduled.  The workers last contract expired on April 27th 2009.
